2027 Beavercreek Sox Baseball
The Beavercreek Sox Baseball Organization was established in 1993 to give youth players the ability to play competitive baseball with other programs in the area. Our focus to is to prepare players to play for their High School and beyond.
Ages
Our goal is to provide teams from 7U to 18U depending on player availability. If you do not see a team listed for your age group and are interested in coaching please contact a member of the Executive Board for further information.
When
Practices typically begin in late summer early fall and continue until the fields close for the winter. Then practices move indoors until the spring. The 7U through 12U season begins late May/early April and continues through June. 13U and above begins once the school ball season ends and continues through the end of July.
Where
Practices and Home Games are normally played at Rotary Park in Beavercreek, OH.
Practices
Teams practice 1-3 times per week outdoors when the weather permits. During the winter most teams practice 1-2 times per week.
Games
A typical season consists of 30 to 40 games. This includes league games and tournaments.
Jerseys
Your player fee includes a Uniform chosen by the organization. For most teams it also includes 1-2 additional uniforms chosen by the coach.
Extra Costs
Most teams require each player to obtain 1 sponsorship of $300. Players will have the option to opt out and pay a $200 Buyout option.
If there are other costs determined by the coach they will communicate that at the time of tryouts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does my player have to have previous select baseball experience to make a team?
No, many of our age groups have multiple teams providing opportunities for experienced and players new to the select experience. While not all players are selected coaches look for many different characteristics when choosing players. If you are unsure if your player is ready reach out to a coach or come to a game and see for yourself.

BEAVERCREEK SOX 13U D-2 and D-3 TRYOUTS
Our SOX 13U baseball team is seeking talented and dedicated players for the 2027 spring baseball season to add to our team after our successful 2026 season. I have coached baseball for Beavercreek schools for 20 years, and six for the SOX. The SOX have their own fields/complex with lights and 12 month access to our indoor facility. We will play 35-40 plus games participating at Action Sports, Midwest Ohio baseball leagues and at least 5 tournaments. We train throughout the year including fall workouts and games, winter workouts, and team activities throughout the year.
